Cafe @ The Round

What a gem of a cafe! This is a cafe that lights up the heart of Drummoyne. It’s very community-focused, where people (and pups, so many pups) come together to enjoy good conversation, coffee and food at reasonable prices. The owner is a kind, efficient and humble person who puts a great deal of care into serving his customers. The cafe itself is set in a heritage building and has been lovingly maintained. The cafe looks out into a picturesque roundabout studded with lush trees and gardens. All round a lovely place to sit and enjoy life with a good coffee and conversation.

Excellent coffee; had a double espresso with hot milk on the side, it was perfect. Lovely small café with a relaxed, laid-back vibe. Seating both inside and outside. I’ve been back many times and it’s consistently good. Seems very popular with the locals; always a good sign. We live further away but make it a stop when in the area. Worth it.

Lovely cafe run by a local. The staff are kind and even when they had closed the kitchen still made me a really good ham cheese and tomato toastie for a great price. The iced coffee was super good and I got a scoop of ice cream. Highly recommend! The place is nicely decorated and has plenty of seating outside and inside.

Our first visit at The Round and we were very happy to have our lunch at this lovely Cafe. The food was delicious and the service superb & friendly. Many thanks and see you soon again!

Definitely fantastic food here! A bit pricey for me as a regular but that does not take away from the food if you’ve got the money then no problem I had poached eggs on sourdough with avocado and it was delicious and even down to the lemon thyme micro herbs and splash of olive oil really set it off! My partner had big breakfast as did our daughter and again delicious and fine ingredients. Lovely service too and nice and laid back. We will definitely return in the future!
