The Gallery Cafe

A beautiful cafe in a nice quiet street. Lots of parking close by. Don't hesitate to come here as the staff are friendly and the food is really fresh and tasty. Coconut cold brew was very really refreshing and perfect for a sunny day. The smoked trout salad had really nice asparagus and the hot smoked trout was very gourmet. Highly recommend this. However the falafel bagel was just divine. The pickled vegetables salad in the side actually went very well with the bagel and everything in it worked. Can't recommend this place enough

Maybe it used to be gd and changed managers?? The sourdough was not sourdough. The butter was cheap and tasted like it had been open in the fridge for far too long. The cream tasted off. The pancake was nothing like the pictures. Small, only one, not cooked fresh, wouldn’t even call it a pancake. The eggs & bacon were low quality, presentation boring. Waitress didn’t seem interested in being there. Average coffee. If you want a modern, fresh breaky with nice quality ingredients this isn’t the place. Literally left a bad taste in my mouth. I did give the manager my honest feedback, she did offer 10% discount on the tiny $18.50pancake my daughter couldn’t eat. Not enough to compensate for the disappointment and time/ money/wasted. Definitely shouldn’t be charging those prices for the food they are serving. I hope we don’t get sick & I hope they lift their game.

I really enjoy stopping here for brekkie before work whenever I’m in Ballina. The omelette with gluten free toast is a winner every time. Great start to the day.

My partner and I were visiting from the Gold Coast and had the most amazing breakfast. we highly recommend the Gallery Vegan board. The freshest ingredients too.

We had an amazing experience at this café! The service was incredibly friendly, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was prepared with care and tasted amazing. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommended!
