Penrith Central Park is a dog-friendly park where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find toilets nearby, while Percy Plunkett is around 650 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Dogs are permitted on-leash under the NSW Companion Animals Act. Dogs must be under effective control at all times. This venue is not listed on the Penrith City Council off-leash dog areas page; off-leash use is not authorised here.
Nice park but when went to use the toilets was a bit shocked. The ceiling is reflective and there is no privacy with that. They need to take the ceiling reflective surface out.
There is something about concrete and architecture that captures my eye and excites my camera. The park is a place to sit, relax and enjoy the day.
Perfect spot to bring the kids. Loved the calm and peaceful park at the heart of Penrith.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
