Judges Park is a dog-friendly park in Penrith. You'll find parking nearby, while Percy Plunkett is around 450 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee.
Dogs are welcome on leash in this park. Keep your dog under effective control. Dogs must stay at least 10 metres from children's play equipment and from BBQs, picnic tables or other facilities provided for preparing or eating food, except where the food area is on a public thoroughfare such as a road, footpath or pathway. Off-leash exercise is permitted only in Council's designated dog parks and off-leash areas.
It is a nice little playground which my grandson loves, but.... ...he is a very obedient child of 2 1/2 years. It has no fence, is right next to the entrance to the outdoor carpark, and worries me for other parents/grandparents. Is it me? ...or do council have a responsibility to its ratepayers.
It's good for killing time with children 6 to 10. There is no on ground facilities however there are facilities at carpark nearby.
Good playground and good area for community feeds, e.g. that put on by Christ Mission Possible.
A quiet little park with a small playground, roads that aren't too busy and a few gathering spaces around. Nice way to relax, sit down and have a chat with a friend and just enjoy the great weather and breeze of the day.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
