Mermaids Cafe

My family and I had breakfast for 6 consecutive days at Mermaids Cafe and the food, coffee and service was always exceptional. It's definitely a great start to the day with a well made coffee and a gorgeous outlook to the bay. A credit to Heather the floor manager who always made the experience delightful and accommodating with her smile and caring nature. Thank you

It was a cool spring morning, 9 teenagers on schoolies, hungry, hungover and impatient. One of them finds a cafe for breakfast and we decide on it. Car A takes the scenic route, and Car B takes the express route. We arrive on the edge of the water, smell of saltwater in the atmosphere, rays of sunshine hitting our sunburnt faces. There it is. Mermaids cafe. The 9 teenagers faces light up with glee, as they now know they will be treated to a succulent breakfast, or so they hope. Tender fingers glaze the online menues, some quick, some slow but we all find our desired meal. One by one, beautiful, mouth -salivating meals are gracefully taken with care and pride by thoughtful servers to our table. The Nutella waffle was a true highlight, amongst the big brekkie, corn fritters, eggs benny and not to forget the delicious drinks. Truly a beautiful hangover cleansing, tastebud exploding experience topped off by the magnificent kind service of Heather, who looked after us throughout the whole ordeal. Someday when we are all older and wiser, we shall return, and look for the graceful care of Heather and Mermaids Cafe’s food, as you should too.

First time diner at Mermaids. Food was absolutely delicious (we ordered the big breakfast with side of garlic mushrooms) 😋 and Heather was an absolute doll - extremely attentive & friendly, sad we are only here for x2 nights. Deff a must try!

My husband and I really enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Ever since I got here in Australia, I was looking for a legit matcha drink that tastes strong, and i found it here!!! HOT MATCHA WAS AMAZING 💖 plus the almond croissant, dirty chai, shakshuka, bacon and egg roll! We’ll go back and bring our kids here!!!! AMAZING

Beautiful location, right opposite the beach. Had breakfast here 2 days in a row. Yep. It's pretty good, and the coffee and food are on point. Portions food wise are large and quality and flavour really fantastic.
