If you’re looking for world class coffee, delicious food that’s great value, friendly and fun staff in a venue that’s clean and fresh then RUSH cafe is it!!! So many options of seating, to suit your mood or the weather. Food choices are amazing with loads of vegan and other dietary needs. And the coffee !! Superb 10/10

The outside of the building may be dark and industrial looking, but the inside is fresh, relaxing and coastal. Just had a fasting blood test, so I thought I would treat myself to breakfast. My usual litmus test is scrambled eggs and coffee. Well the eggs weren't my expected light and fluffy, however they were cooked and large. Seems like quite a large serving. I got two pieces of sourdough toast, CopperTree butter (light and creamy), tomato relish, and I added a hash brown (expecting only 1 and got 2) which tasted homemade. Yum!! The coffee is Rush Roasting - enough said. If you are a coffee lover like me, you will enjoy your coffee here. The service was friendly and quick. You can pay cash, even better. The tables aren't too close together and the whole place has a lovely relaxed feel. If you want a quick hit and snack they also have an outside counter so you can grab and go. Will have to come back and try something else.

Stopped in for a quick ‘snack’ on the way to Canberra and was not disappointed. I had the potato rosti and it was really delicious. Would come here again.

I just visited about 15 minutes ago. Unfortunately, while drinking the berry smoothie I ordered, I found small pieces of plastic inside after I had already finished about two-thirds of it. I received a refund after letting the staff know, and I believe the plastic might have come from the container used to store frozen berries. However, I’m quite concerned about how much I might have already consumed. I really hope this doesn’t happen to other customers in the future. Apart from that, the food was great and the interior was very nice.

The coffee was yum - flavourful and balanced, leaning towards acidic. Unfortunately it was the worst eggs benny I’ve had in a while…. $24 for an under toasted piece of sourdough with coles packet salad packet mix underneath it feels pretty rough. The hollandaise just tasted like lemon and overpowered everything else. It also had the unfortunate side effect of making the bread soggier than it already was due to the copious pour of it. The bacon also didn’t taste like much. Frankly I only had half even though I came in pretty hungry, which isn’t the experience you want at a cafe! Partners veggie sandwich was good though - great pesto, well toasted, and yum sweet potato.
