River Road Reserve has separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, each with water stations and waste bags. The agility obstacles give dogs something to work with beyond just open space, and there's a mix of grass and sandy surfaces underfoot. A sun/rain shelter provides cover for owners. Parking is available nearby, and the whole setup is well thought out — visitors regularly mention being impressed by how well-equipped it is.

Dog rules

River Road Reserve Fenced Dog Park (42 River Road, Elderslie) is a designated council off-leash fenced dog park in Camden Council area. Dogs may be exercised off lead within the fenced area. Great place for the dogs to run. Separated into an area for large dogs and small dogs. Both areas have poo bags and water stations. There is some sun/rain shelter in both areas also.

What an awesome dog park. Separate fenced area for little doggo if they don't want to hang with the big doggo. Chairs for fur baby parents , obstacles for dogs, water, bags, very large grounds. No toilets. Presley (golden Retriever) had a wonderful time and made lots of new fur friends 😁👍

There are 2 areas, 1 for small and one for all. Nice grass, under cover seating, water containers, poo bags and bins, the big one has some agility things in there.

Great space, open, tree shade, 2 safe entry gates, bin & bags lg & small areas, agility, gorgeous gazebo in centre of lg park, seating & solar lighting. Single bubbler in lg park only, no water in small park. Would have been 5 stars if it had sandpit & tunnels. Lovely walking paths nearby.

Well fenced park, shade areas and fresh water stations available. Two sections one small dog specific and the other any size dog. Down on the river flats, providing a lovely outlook.
