Dog rules

Canterbury-Bankstown City Council's "Pet-friendly parks and reserves" page states: "please remember to keep your dog on a leash unless the reserve is classified as a 'dog off-leash area'." The council's "Animals and pets" page summarises this as: "Keeping your dog on a leash, unless in a designated off-leash area." This venue is not on Canterbury-Bankstown's published off-leash list, so the council's general on-leash rule applies under the NSW Companion Animals Act 1998. Track was overgrown when i visited Jan 2025. 45minute loop moderate difficulty. Recommend parking near Henry Lawsons , take water in summer. Nice area near Henry Lawsons access for FPV practise.

Actually not that beautiful whichbit seems to be. Not even a lagoon it can be. The water is not clear, nor smell is good.

A very quiet Lagoon loop walk, we did not see anyone else on the trail when we visited on a Sunday. The trail it self was pretty easy however the lack of signage with lots of false tracks made it very hard to navigate. I suggest to download a maps before walking just incase if you are lost in an area with no coverage. Other than that, the natural bushland was very tranquil and we enjoyed the experience.

On the easier side rather than moderate. Signage can be definitely improved. A nice walk overall, took me about 45 minutes with a couple of detours included.

Getting back into nature. This is a good track that actually feels like a bush walk. The narrow dirt track gives an authentic feel of actually being in the bush, without having to go out bush. Unfortunately, like many areas, people have left behind some rubbish floating around which detracts from the overall experience. There's also no car park. People do park on the side of a busy 2 lane road to get in, which is not ideal.
