2 Lamb chops chips n salad Let’s do that again. 2 bits of lamb chops chips n salad. Questioned it and was met with an “ oh well”. Do better. You have too much competition with the other hotels around the area.

Came in on Thursday for dinner and decided on their $20 ribs and wings special. The photo actually makes it look a lot better than it was. Literally 3 ribs on the so called rack, 3 chicken niblet pieces that looked liked they had come off a 1 week old chicken they were so small and thrown together with half a handful of chips. I was actually shocked when I saw it and asked is that seriously what they are giving me for $20. The 16yr boy that handed them to me said it was because different cuts are different sizes. What? That's the excuse for 3 riblets being passed off as a $20 meal. I asked could I just get a refund, but they all just looked at me, including the manager, and didn't say a word. I was getting so angry, I literally took the plate and walked off before I lost it. The service and the food was seriously the worst I've ever experienced anywhere.

Our go to in Picton, you can not go wrong with the food served here. Even if they get the meal wrong, they are happy to replace or in my case add the extra cheese! Burgers are a good staple and pictures speak louder than words ... so feast your eyes on these burgers...

Perfect for a family friendly lunch. Pub food done really well! The steak sandwich was so good, would definitely get again, highly recommend! The barbecue sauce was nice and smoky and the steak was cooked well. I tried my wife’s schnitzel and that was really nice too. Food was a bit of a wait around 30 minutes but was worth it. Kids got free ice cream with their choice of sauce after their meals. There was a nice play area for the children to enjoy playing inside too. Looking for a family friendly lunch with great food in Picton then this is your place!

The food was fantastic, every one of us loved it, Presentation was excellent, large portions and good value for money. Playing trivia was fun and winning 2 vouchers ($50 and $15) was a great bonus. We will definitely come back.
