RHYTHM Cafe (Formerly Coffee First)

This place is quickly becoming my go to cafe. Coffee is great and the service is always on point. Plus the food is just amazing, the mushroom toastie is my recommendation

We are so lucky to have Alex putting his effort every day into making the best coffee in Sydney. There’s nothing like it in the Northern Beaches. The coffee is so refined and the flavours are delicate. Every cup is so special. I find it hard to visit the cafe and not try coffee on espresso, batch and a milk coffee just to make sure I’ve captured the full experience. The food is also amazing. There’s healthy options or the occasional treat if you want it. My wife and her friends are obsessed with the freshly baked cookies. My mates reckon the bacon and egg roll is the best in Sydney, and they’re not wrong. This cafe is a great family spot. I take my 4 year old kids there every weekend - they call it “Alex cafe” and love going there. Tip: the food and coffee is available to pre-order on HeyYou. So if you’re in a morning rush you can download the app and get it ready to go. I highly recommend you come and visit the cafe. Once you’ve tried the coffee you’ll not only switch to making Coffee First your new local cafe, you’ll want to make the trip there regularly to experience the incredible coffee flavours. I often meet friends of mine that travel from all over Sydney just to try the coffee and let me tell you - it’s worth it!

Coffee First in Seaforth is hands down my go to spot! As a coffee and food lover, I’ve been to many places, but the consistently in coffee and food here is amazing. Alex is such a lovely guy, so helpful, genuine, and always ensuring everyone feels welcome. He has also trained his staff to reflect these same values. Highly recommend!

Without a doubt, this is the best coffee in SYD. We are seriously spoilt as a city to have coffee makers as passionate as the team behind Coffee First. I found them and I hope to never lose them. We sat back and sipped an espresso which was served with a smile as if we had known each other for years. It was delicious and smooth, something crafted from a place of thought & love. We also indulged in the cold brew (DELICIOUS) & their bacon and egg roll (WOW). Customers flowed in, devoted congregation of morning coffee drinkers all greeted with warmth and joy; a rarely seen devotion to hospitality today. Coffee First are new. But the community has already fallen in love with them as if they’ve always been here. Great coffee. Drink it. Tell your friends. Name your kids after them.

The portion is large. Green juice is pretty nice with kales and celery. Coffee tastes good. The oatmeal is really tasty and is a nice choice for this kinda weather. Not a cafe I will miss a lot or want to visit again and again, but it’s good enough already.
