So great service, good vibes, nice coffee, food and pastries!!! there's little courtyard too! Staff here is always friendly and give me great chat, food recommendations. Bacon&wrap for take away is so tasty! One of the mice & cozy cafe in Newtown/Enmore area.

Good cafe serving good food with friendly staff. We really enjoyed breakfast and coffee at the Shenkin in Enmore today. The Angelita was delicious. We also got eggs on toast with chorizo. The toast was well toasted and the chorizo were yummy. We enjoyed sitting in the courtyard because it’s a bit quieter. It started to sprinkle shortly after we got our food, the staff were happy to help us move to another table under shelter when we raised it. They are very busy but tables turn around quickly so it’s worth a try if you’re in the area.

I live in Enmore so I’m a regular here. The coffee, food, and service are great! Ali in particular was the highlight of my visits. She really was lovely, incredibly kind, had a wonderful energy, and always gave the best service. I was shocked and disappointed to find out she is no longer here. It’s a massive loss for the cafe, and the vibe just isn't quite the same without her.

One of my favourite places for breakfast on the weekend. Food: A very comprehensive menu of food and drinks (see images for further details). My choice today (which is one of my typical go to orders) was the Angelita, it’s almost enough for two! For the eggplant lovers go for the Sabih (photo included). The juices make a pairing and are fresh and very well chilled. Seating: Multiple options from outside (pavement) to allow you to snack and people watch. Inside where noise levels are negligible and very easy to hold a conversation and final option is outside court yard. Service: Normally quick and attentive with food arriving fairly quickly after ordering.

Whoever barista was working 21 Jan 2026 3pm… if she’s from Sydney but not Melb I think I might believe in love again. How, can she steam oat milk and turn it into warm, smooth, and silky cream (that is originally from south NZ cow)
