@vinerialuisa is a gorgeous Newtown venue with classic décor and an intimate upstairs dining room. a wonderful place for celebrations or a girls night out perfect tiny bites of Chicken liver paté, orange marmalade, Piedmont hazelnut, served on crostini $16 was the best way to start this fantastic dinner, this was rich yet light and had layers of flavours that developed with each nibble. Charcoal Fremantle WA octopus, leek and potato puree, Amalfi lemon, hazelnut $26 cooked to absolute perfection, juicy and had a deep profile that was wrapped lovingly in that warm puree. Culaccia premium prosciutto, pickled dwarf green peaches, Sardinian flat bread $29 I think this is genuinely the best prosciutto I have ever had in my life, I mean just look at that beautiful bright pink colouring! the pickled peaches provided wonderful tangy sweetness that worked so nicely with the cuts! Fregola alla Vignarola, zucchini flowers, yellow cherry tomatoes, green spring vegetables $31 a real surprise of a dish, we did not expect it to look so beautiful but taste so fresh and creamy. I loved the mix of fregola pasta and the peas, and all the little spring veggies worked great together. really recommend this one! Gianmarco’s best ever lasagna alla Bolognese, slow cooked pork, beef & veal ragù, bechamel $39 when they say best ever lasagne they damn well mean it, it was soooo freakinnnnn gooddddd! cheesy and meaty and smooth, every bite was heaven. you must order this! Pavoni’s Vanilla Pannacotta, English custard, Amarena Fabbri $18 classic jiggly pannacotta, a lovely way to end this dinner as it wasn't super heavy but had a rich vanilla taste. need more of those cherries though!
A random search for good Lasagna lead us here. This place is a gem! Food was brilliant and wine/gin list was large. Highly recommend the Tonnarelli alla rigaglie & Lasagna, and well for me the Sicilian almond Gelato was ridiculously good. Ambiance was inviting and warm. The service was top notch, suggestions were great and he was very attentive. Will be back.
Wow, just wow, this was a truly superb dining experience. As an Italian, I don't pay for Italian lightly, but every dish was exceptional and I would absolutely go again. Definitely the best in Enmore. I highly recommend!
Our first visit to Vineria Luisa was an absolute delight from start to finish. Warm, welcoming service made us feel at home straight away, and the atmosphere struck that perfect balance between cosy and refined. The food was outstanding, beautiful presented, full of flavour, and clearly prepared with care and respect for Italian tradition. Every dish felt thoughtful and comforting without trying too hard, the kind of meal you keep thinking about long after you leave. Add in attentive staff, great pacing, and a space that invites you to linger, and it made for a truly memorable first experience. We’ll definitely be back
Had an amazing girls dinner at Vineria Luisa. I was really digging the decor and vibe of this place. It was very homely and charming but also intimate and ambient enough to take a date 🙂 you were greeted as soon as u enter the door and the service stayed top-notched for the entire time … and of course the food… The pasta and dishes were absolutely amazing and yummy! My faves were the lasagna, fregola, panna cotta and the tiramisu! Sure will be back again 🙂
