Punch Park is a small Balmain park with enough room for a few dogs to run and play together. Dogs are off-leash here except when organised sport is on the field, so timing matters. It is well set up with drinking water, bins, toilets and a playground, and has a friendly local feel. A compact, practical spot for an everyday off-leash visit rather than a long stay.
A designated area of Punch Park is off-leash at any time of the day except during organised sporting activities, when dogs must be on a leash. Dogs are not permitted in the children's playground or tennis courts.
Small park but enough space for a few dogs to run and even play together. A toilet is there which is so good
As a dog walker, it’s an ok point to get to in the hopes the dog will make the most of the grass & readily available bins. It’s quite small & there is a “time share arrangement” . There was a sign with fine print about when dogs are allowed but with no glasses & a lot to read I’m not totally sure on the rules. It’s not somewhere you’d play with a dog & I think you have to keep dogs on lead. Nice playground for kids.
The park is somewhat nice but not particularly clean. Lots of dogs, playground is worn out and some broken toys thrown on the ground. On the plus side, there are 6 swings - more than I've seen in any playground in Sydney.
Good t courts for free nice park nice people
“I had a really great experience here. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and the environment was clean, welcoming, and well-organized. Everything was handled efficiently, and I really appreciated the attention to detail and customer care. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do, and it definitely shows. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality service and a positive atmosphere.”
