In the Blue Mountains, dogs must be on a leash in all public areas unless in a specifically designated off-leash zone. This venue is not on Blue Mountains City Council's off-leash areas list. (Source: Blue Mountains City Council — Dog off-leash areas, bmcc.nsw.gov.au/dogs.)
Small decent park, couple of swingsets some play equipment. Bit dodgy ramp hill thing to climb upon. Toilets not nice and found needles which was disappointing.
Small park with playground for kids, suitable for picnic. There are plenty of seating area, water refill station and public toilets.
Nice place to stop by after a trip up Blue Mountains view/hiking points. Nice grass for picnic (also got a shaded area - though small) playground for kids and general great ambience. Highly recommend
Nice little park has a cool plane, in autumn look great with the mass of colours from the leaves, has public toilets and a covered picnic table and some tables in the open. One half has no play equipment so if you don't have kids you can enjoy the park without them. There is also a plaque of when the parked opened in 1934. The fence is low so strict supervision is required for young ones.
"Higher," she yelled. With the tallest swing (about 5 metres with a long chain) she flew. Which is good for a park named after an early Australian aviator. Sit under the old trees, let the kids climb, swing, imagine flying, or just daydream. Great for picnics and long afternoons. You won't be sad visiting this small pocket park, just down the hill from Katoomba.
