Great place to end the night after a long day of hiking. They had mulled cider when I was there, which was a great way to warm up.
What to say ...... Beautiful location, however the give away was the broken steps on entry . Ordered a mulled cider for my husband and I. Watched the server grab the cider ( contained in a unmarked plastic bottle ) from the fridge ,check a jug on the sink and then proceed to scoop the "mulled " part of the cider with a spoon and push it into the jug with an unwashed finger ( as he didnt leave the bar to wash his hands) And heat the mulled cider in the steam apparatus of the coffee machine , more than likely rendering an alcohol inert. Oh and then after service he licked the same finger he scooped our cider with . Im certainly no grandma , however the house music didnt really match the location. So yes .. probably wont be back .
Actually the food here is really good! We had steak sandwich and Bruschetta, and they are both tasty. Just a bit expensive.
I honestly don’t understand why this place has such a low rating, because our experience at Bar NSW was genuinely excellent. With great views, a beautiful atmosphere, and some of the best coffee, this spot definitely deserves much more appreciation. We ordered fries, which were fresh, hot, and perfectly cooked, and the cappuccino was absolutely to die for — rich, smooth, and made just right. It’s the kind of coffee that makes you want to come back again and again. The staff were incredibly hospitable and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their friendly attitude really added to the overall experience. The vibe was relaxed and pleasant, perfect for unwinding while enjoying good food, coffee, and views. Overall, Bar NSW is a place that truly deserves a higher rating, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great café experience.
The undercooked burger meat was an absolute disgrace. This place is only worth sitting at for the view — have a beer and leave, but definitely don’t eat here. The girl working at the bar was incredibly cold and completely unwilling to communicate. With a view like this, it’s pretty clear why the place is still empty…
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
