I truly believe everyone owes themselves at least one night at this hotel in their lifetime. I honestly don’t know how to describe it — the beauty simply cannot be captured in photos. And the restaurant… wow. Without a doubt, it was the most delicious meal I have ever had. I highly recommend trying both the lamb and the beef, along with the starters and the tart — everything was absolutely exceptional. The chef was incredibly classy, polite, and professional, and will definitely be the reason we return. Perfect location, outstanding staff, immaculate cleanliness. I genuinely don’t know what other words to use. Thank you, and we truly hope to visit again.
Lovely location looking over the escarpment. Room attractive and clean. Reception and Echoes restaurant service were first class as was the food. Negatives were the indoor pool and billiard table being unavailable despite being advertised on the website, an ineffective exhaust fan in the ensuite and it was not cheap even with a dimmer sale.
We had an amazing stay in the Echoes Boutique Hotel. We travel a lot and this was one of our favorite hotels. The staff was incredibly helpful and nice. Service was excellent, and their breakfast was the best we have experienced, with amazing views. The views from our room were also breathtakingly beautiful. Amenities for the room included water in the fridge, coffee pods and coffee maker, teas, hot cocoa, slippers, robes, water kettle, etc.. We would like to say thank you to all the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful, with superior service, especially the receptionist. The location was perfect, a five minute walk to the Skytram accessing Scenic World, or walk to the Three Sisters lookout, with ready access to multiple hiking trails. Walking distance to many spectacular views. We would full heartedly recommend staying here!
A fine dining birthday dinner for four at Echoes Restaurant. We all had 3 courses with a wide variety of choices from their quite comprehensive and interesting menu. We also added 3 sides to share between the table. The sides were beautifully prepared and quite generously sized for sharing. Every course for every person was perfectly cooked as ordered and very nicely presented. We all were impressed with our meals, the staff and service. The whole experience did not disappoint in any way and we all left well satisfied and feeling that we well and truly got what we paid for. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.
I will never stay here again. The breakfast service was essentially non-existent, and two of my meals were completely inedible. On the first morning, I ordered avo on toast, only to be served avocado that was literally rotten. Another guest who ordered the same dish also sent hers back — it seems we each received half of the same spoiled avocado. I ended up paying $39.00 for a few mushrooms. On day three, I tried the omelette, which arrived watery and unappetising. I couldn’t eat it. Again, $39.00 for zero breakfast. I requested a detailed bill the day before checkout, but was told it could not be provided. At checkout, I asked again and was promised it would be emailed to me. A week later, I still haven’t received it — but I did receive a surprise additional credit card charge for dinner and drinks from the first night, which they had apparently forgotten to bill earlier. This is beyond disappointing and completely unacceptable for a so-called first-class hotel. I would have been far better off sticking with a self-catering Airbnb — I would have saved money and enjoyed consistently good food.
