Elysian Bar

A fantastic spot to visit while exploring the Blue Mountains. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The cocktails were equally impressive and expertly made. What really stood out was the friendly and welcoming service — the staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for enjoying a meal and drinks after a day of sightseeing. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!

A wonderful bar in Leura. The food was excellent - we had the chorizo, potatoes, and the duck. They were all cooked to perfection and the flavours were great. I think the potato serving size was smaller than I would have liked, but the others were great. Prices seemed fair, although be warned that there is a 15% surcharge for weekends. There is a wide variety of seating options available, although it was raining when we went so we were forced to sit inside. As I read in other reviews, I would have liked the food to come out slightly more staggered, as it came all at once. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and will definitely return next time I am in Leura!

The Elysian is a beautiful restaurant and bar overlooking a romantic garden with a gazebo, and the setting alone makes it feel special. It’s intimate without being stuffy, elegant without trying too hard. The food absolutely delivers. We loved the veggie dumplings and the salmon — both were fresh, balanced, and beautifully prepared. The chorizo was also excellent, and the wine paired so well it went down a little too easily. But what truly set the evening apart was the hospitality. Trenton, the manager, began chatting with us as we were leaving and learned we were heading to Sydney the next day. Without hesitation, he shared an entire page of his favorite places to see, eat, drink, and explore. He quite literally saved us hours of research and gave us a thoughtful head start on our next chapter. Exceptional food. A romantic setting. Genuine, above-and-beyond hospitality. Highly recommend — and we will absolutely be back next time we’re in the Blue Mountains!

We loved Elysian Bar when it was in Katoomba and were very excited to see they re-opened in Leura in the most stunning location. Service as always is top notch, but the food this time was quite disappointing. Burrata didnt hit the spot, chorizo was cold and the "bone marrow" focaccia contained... no bone marrow and semi warm. $25 for a sticky date putting is a little steep. Cocktails are top notch as always. Maybe they are still finding their feet with the new location. But id love to give it another go next time we are here.
