What people say
We loved Elysian Bar when it was in Katoomba and were very excited to see they re-opened in Leura in the most stunning location. Service as always is top notch, but the food this time was quite disappointing. Burrata didnt hit the spot, chorizo was cold and the "bone marrow" focaccia contained... no bone marrow and semi warm. $25 for a sticky date putting is a little steep. Cocktails are top notch as always. Maybe they are still finding their feet with the new location. But id love to give it another go next time we are here.
This is a place I will definitely come back to and highly recommend to my friends. The food is extraordinary, and the cocktails are absolutely delicious. I had the best tequila cocktail I’ve ever had here, perfectly balanced and full of flavour. The staff are all incredibly friendly and bring such a great vibe to the restaurant. The outdoor view is breathtaking, watching the sunset over the mountains was truly special. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience.
Had the best dinner here tonight. Every single dish was outstanding. We got the fried cauliflower, the chorizo, calamari, and the corn ribs. They sent out sashimi as well on the house. UNBELEIVABLE. Not only was the food delicious but so were the drinks and the servers were all extremely attentive. Would come here every weekend if I could! The owner of the restaurant, John, has done an amazing job with this place and has the best vibe. If you come to Leura, you MUST stop at this spot. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could. Will be back again one day!
What a gem of a place! We went there for an early dinner and got a table outside. Staff was lovely and food was really nice, but the best part was the view and ambience! Highly recommend the sticky date pudding. It’s pricy, but totally worth it.
A gem in the mountains! Its been on my wish list for a while. The food was exceptional, all incredible flavours. Good portion sizes and loves to share with my partner. Wish they paced them coming out though so we could slow down and enjoy it for longer. The cocktails were the best I've ever had. Service was great with staff checking in regularly. The views are just the icing on the cake. Perfect for gluten free diners too.
