A hidden gem in Bondi. Delicious food, thoughtful touches & a special ambiance. You’ll feel transported to an evening out in Europe. I’ve been three times now, and savored each visit. Thank you to Emma & the team for such delightful service. Some of my favourites dishes: latkes, octopus, schnitzel, steak frites, green salad & don’t forget the crepe!

A lovely French-inspired bistro with a warm, charming vibe. The market fish was beautifully done, and the chocolate mousse is an absolute MUST-HAVE! So delicious!! I first came here last December, and I remember loving the salad back then — it had such a refreshing, vibrant vinaigrette that really stood out. This time, the salad was still good, just not quite as memorable as my previous visit.

What a welcome new comer to the hood. The owners of Lox in a Box have created another winner. The menu is limited but the items on it are delish. Ben our superb server came to introduce himself to the first guests in our party to arrive. His service was on point and highly commendable. The decor is fresh and stylish. The staff were branded tops which brings a fun aspect to the place. I had some Gilda’s which were a combination of tastes all in one. The chicken liver pate served with bagel chips was so yum the plate was literally licked 🫣. Mains I enjoyed their market fish, blue eyed Murray cod, with perfectly dressed leaves. We shared the Crepes to finish a great meal.

Had a gorgeous dining experience here on a school night recently. From the moment you enter the venue you’re transported to what feels a traditional bistro. Every detail is finely thought through from the silver mermaid napkin holders, to personalised plates. The staff are attentive and go above and beyond to look after you. The food was perfect. We had a wide range of plates and each dish was made well. The chicken pate was a personal stand out for me. Loved my first bistro Bondi experience and I’ll definitely return!

A lovely dinner spot with even lovelier staff!! We had a small issue with our meal and management went above and beyond. The food was amazing and our experience was even better as a result of the beautiful owner! A must try !!
