The club recently underwent a significant makeover, moving away from the "old school" RSL aesthetic toward a bright, coastal-chic interior. Think white-washed walls, light timber, and floor-to-ceiling glass that maximizes the ocean views. While the club is currently navigating a shift to appeal to a younger demographic (the average member age is now significantly younger than most RSLs), it remains deeply rooted in its mission. Every day at sunset, the club pauses for the Ode—a moving moment of silence where patrons stand to face the west and honor fallen veterans. Dining & Drinks The Food: Don’t expect fine dining, but do expect "honest" pub fare. The Chicken Schnitzel is a local favorite—massive, juicy, and reliable. Other standouts include the North Bondi Burger and fresh seafood platters. The Value: This is where the RSL shines. In a suburb where a beer can cost $15, the RSL keeps prices accessible. If you’re a local, it’s worth the $5-$10 membership fee just for the drink discounts. The Balcony: If you can snag a seat on the outdoor terrace, you’re winning. It is arguably the best spot in Sydney for a Sunday afternoon session.

Awesome spot for some cheaper than usual (in Bondi) beers and pub food. Serving sizes are huge and you will not leave feeling hungry! Fresh too.

I have been here many time. Food is yummy and the best thing is the atmosphere that you can see the beach.
