The Best coffee I had in years! Wonderful environment and atmosphere combined with the beautiful Kookaburra! Strongly recommended 💯

Service and atmosphere top. However very disappointed with the food. Overpriced and poor quality. Paid $18 for 5 pieces of calamari. We thought it was a mistake and raised it with staff straight away, got confirmation it was the correct portion. The chips tasted like it's been fried multiple times. Staff spoke with us at the end and showed empathy and acknowledged our feedback - to at least show in the menu the calamari only has 5 pieces, which would help set expectations.

We are a group of divers that frequent Chowder Bay and we are so thrilled to finally have a cafe that never lets us down. Open rain, hail or shine and always with brilliant service and coffee, Ujin is the best - always smiling and happy with great service. Thank you and we wish you a very merry xmas and looking forward to more coffees in 2026. (the evening drinks are great too)

Cafe La Mer is an absolute gem! It's such a relaxed, charming beachside spot. I was so impressed that it's brilliantly run by one person—the service was attentive and the atmosphere was calming. My coffee and quinoa bowl had reenergized my body for another 5km of track walk. A perfect little escape. Highly recommend!"

A hidden gem we stumbled upon on our walk that started at Taronga wharf. A great place to enjoy a drink and nibbles with a great vibe and view. Looking forward to coming back.
