The Jervis Bay boardwalk start is a waterside dog-friendly park in Huskisson where dogs are welcome on lead. Bud's Tavern is also around 700 metres away if you're after a post-walk drink. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking the rules before you visit.
Dogs permitted on-leash under Shoalhaven City Council default policy (Companion Animals Act 1998). Not listed in the council's designated off-leash areas.
Lovely walk. So many little crabs. Sat there watching them eat. Birds and fish were everywhere. Schools of small fish and even bigger mullets swimming around at the end as the tide came in.
Having issues in walking g this board walk was great. Plenty of seating g alibi the way for elderly and disabled. Views of the beach and coast were great.
Great easy walk with seating along the way. Th e information signs along the walk were excellent.
For birdwatchers a good mix of wet sclerophyll forest and mangrove habitats. Easy trails.
A lovely, and often quiet space for some subtle and soft adventure...before a calming walk out on the mangrove walk, or through the bush trails.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
