Wow! Busiest time of the year, but everything was perfect and there was enough staff to accommodate. We were seated outside in a cute breezeway (Alfresco style) as soon as we arrived, promptly served and our meals were perfectly spaced. Now the food!...Generous serves and amazing flavours! Yummy cocktails! Couldn't fit the dessert in but I have my eye on the affogatto for next time.
Fantastic service from Anaïs and staff. Great drinks and a good selection of wines. No reservations on a busy night, but they all worked to get us in. Ana, the owner, came by to say hi. Food was exceptional, and when it comes to authentic Italian, I know my way around la cucina. Great experience everyone! Bravo 👏 P.S. Thanks for my Bombardier. Delicioso!
We recently had a nice dinner on our vacation to Jervis Bay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We shared the seafood pizza and the spaghetti meatballs with a salad. All the food was tasty and fresh. Prices are a little on the expensive side for the quality you're getting
We were extremely lucky to reserve a table for 2 on NYE. The restaurant was already at the festive mood and the good vibes made us feel very happy (on that note, please be aware of the music. You're sure you want to play the soundtrack of Godfather for NYE dinner?) We ordered: - Garlic prawns (Gamberi al guazzetto) - Spaghetti alle vongole - Linguine alla Boscaiola - Chicken scalippine with mushrooms Overall, the cooking quality was superb considering how busy this restaurant was at the time. There are a few points i have towards the texture of the vongole pasta. I think the pasta was slightly undercooked. It was chewy and not seasoned properly with salt. The chilli factor was also missing as i couldn't taste it. The chicken scallopine dish was also very delicious. But be aware of the quantity of mushroom sauce. The highlight of this dish should be the chicken and not the sauce. The broccolini was also charred and had a bitter taste. It should have been boiled and seasoned lightly with salt and pepper. The dish would have been much cleaner and all of the ingredients would complement each other. This restaurant is clearly a local favourite known for its charm and excellent food. We would love to come back here again. Thank you for your great food.
This place exceeded all expectations honestly. We loved the careful details from the decor to the excellent customer service on such a busy Friday night. The food arrived quite promptly and exceed expectations as well. The finishes were perfect and we left feeling so satisfied. Would recommend this place to anyone craving good Italian food in the area. The truffle gnocchi was a stand out for us along with the perfectly balanced tiramisu AND cannoli!
