Black Beach Reserve (also known as Black Beach foreshore in Kiama Council records) is a popular dog-friendly park in Kiama where dogs are welcome on lead. You'll find toilets nearby, while Fillmore’s is around 350 metres away for an easy post-walk coffee. Some conditions apply, so it's worth checking before you visit.
Dogs are permitted on-leash on the footpaths around the outside perimeter of this park only. Dogs are not permitted in park interiors. Dogs are also prohibited — on or off leash — within 10 metres of children's playground equipment, within 10 metres of public barbeques and kiosks, on sports fields, ovals and courts during organised sport, and in public bathing areas. Kiama's designated off-leash areas are listed on the council's off-leash areas page.
A lovely green space right by the water with awesome walking to be had along the promenade, hardly anyone around during our visit
Fabulous and well maintained parkland near the water with large pool to swim in and lots of seating to enjoy the food and the sea breeze while kids run around and enjoy what our beautiful nature can offer.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
