Yves Social

We had an exceptional lunch at Yves, Kiama today. We stopped coming here a couple of years ago as it turned all pink and French and wanky. Thankfully they got rid of all that nonsense and got back to reality. They re named it Yves Social and changed the focus. It’s improved 100%. The food was next level and the service was relaxed. The new deck is great and so are the cocktail jugs, that we have got into for the last two Sundays. 5 visits in 10 days says it all 😂. 🥂🍾🍸🦑🍤

Had my birthday dinner here with the family, food was very good, but we ordered focaccia bread with smoked butter for entree but bread was stale should have been warmed or toasted and there was no flavour in the butter. But all other meals were great, panko chicken was huge and very yummy, barramundi was amazing the best they have tasted. Octopus was very delicious too. The staff were very friendly and helpful, so yes I would recommend The Yves

Dinner at Yves Social was a great experience, offering good food at very fair prices in a setting with a standout view. The menu is compact but covers enough bases for an occasional visit. 🍽️ Food The dishes were good quality and well priced, with the smaller menu still offering enough variety for most tastes. Considering the standard of the venue and the view, the value felt particularly strong. 🍹 Drinks A solid drinks list featuring both local and national breweries, plus mocktails that were excellent and very reasonably priced compared to many bars. 🪑 Decor & atmosphere The interior is nicely decorated, and the outdoor bench tables strike a modern–rustic balance that suits the setting well. It all feels fresh without trying too hard. 📍 Location Just a short walk from the centre of Kiama, it’s easy to reach on foot, by car, or via train. A convenient spot for locals and visitors alike. 🧒 Kid-friendly Highchairs were available, and the kids’ menu offered good options at sensible prices. Families are well accommodated. 🌊 Water views The view over the water is beautiful, especially from the outside tables. Arrive early to snag one — it’s worth it. Overall, Yves Social is a great choice for a relaxed dinner with excellent value; I’d happily return, especially when the weather is good.

Lovely food & great service. The Korean chicken is probably one of the best I have tried & the beef cheeks were full of flavour

We spent 5 days here. Had 4 dinner bookings. The special (Korean chicken) is so delicious 😋. Hubby enjoyed his pizza, they allow changes to the pizza menu. We enjoyed all our meals.. view over the water. Service over all is good. The same staff have been here for quite a few years.
