Great spot to run the dog. Small amount of parking right on the beach. Beach is a bit rocky, which is why they made it a dog beach. Keep your eye on the kids near the water. Very relaxing long sandy beach. Duck into the Wombarra bowlo up theroad for a drink and great Thai food.
Great little beach, dog friendly. Good location. Can be difficult for parking so pay attention to parking sign as rangers always on the look out. Toliets available, great beach overall.
Great beach very quiet & the water is choppy. Careful of rangers. You must follow the signs because part of the beach is restricted with no dogs allowed during a certain time. We almost got a fine walking back to the car park but lucky the ranger let us off with a warning. There's a toilet block nearby
Little Austinmer beach is a great beach for families with ample car parking, great playgrounds for children, an easy step of the side walk to the beach and two nice Ocean pools. Go grab some fish and chips and watch the kids play by. The southern end of the beach has toilets and change rooms. Both ocean pools get plenty of fresh water through them so they will be filtered.
Beautiful beach with the most unbelievably clear clean blue/green waters. Swimming in close to the beach is safe but further out there is a strong rip that can easily take young children away from the shore, please take care as the beach is unpatrolled.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
