Austi Beach Cafe

Food was yum and fresh, and one of the few places still open at 5pm or later. Beautiful beach views, and they allowed my dog to sit with us at one of the outside tables. Delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and they serve coffee and gelato. A bit pricey, with the fish and chips and salad coming in at $30. But it's the price you pay when you're right on the beach, I suppose. Would come back!

Brilliant views and very decent coffee. Parking can be a bit of a pain on a busy day but on slow days there is ample street parking. Right across the beach and the place has both indoor and outdoor (patio) seating.

Saturday 15/11/2025 came for lunch @midday. Steak sandwich, calamari both served with chips, a piccolo and choc birthday shake. My steak sandwich had nice bread, crispy bit of butter, but the whole sandwich was like warm at best. Calamari is fresh, heavily crumbed, served hot. It would’ve been better with more chips and salad. The shake was amazing. The piccolo was almost cold. So I don’t rate this place for food. because it arrived luke warm to cold, expensive for the food portion on the plate. Disappointing. The service was stellar, happy smiling staff, attentive to cleanup and cleanliness. $68

Hands down the best spot for our morning omelette. There’s never any question where the family’s going — this place just hits different. The girls — Bree, Yola, and Lakaya — are absolute legends. Always smiling, always generous (especially when it comes to the gelato 🍦). As for me… I’m all about the Big Breakfast — seriously, yummy yummy in Daddy’s tummy. 😋 Can’t recommend it enough. Great energy, great people, perfect way to start the day.

Lovely beachside Cafe on the sea with good views of the sea with both outdoor and indoor seating. Robust menu and great staff with good service. Prices are a bit expensive but the view and location facing the beach are well worth it. Also home made options which cater for most palates as well as alcohol and cocktails.
