The Gong View Cafe

Stopped by for brunch and really liked the friendly staff, clean and cosy decor. The homemade yum cha item was delicious, though it took a while to come out, about 40 minutes. The flat white was a bit too watery, and the hot chocolate had a slightly artificial taste, but the scrambled eggs and smashed avocado on sourdough toast was tasty. With only one counter open for orders, things moved a little slowly during the rush, an extra counter could really help at busy times. Parking can be a bit tricky, but it’s still a nice spot with great service and very polite staff.

Gongview Cafe is an absolute must-visit spot for coffee enthusiasts. The space boasts a modern yet cozy design, filled with plenty of natural light and a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere. Their coffee is exceptional—consistently smooth and rich in flavor, with every cup carefully crafted. They have also updated their menu, and I highly recommend trying their new offerings—truly top-notch!

He greets every customer with a warm smile and truly makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. What really stands out is how much he cares about giving customers the best experience. This morning, he even gave me a free extra ice latte just to make sure I found the taste I liked, such a thoughtful gesture! It honestly made my day. 😊 The Gong View has become my favourite morning coffee spot with yummy breakfast in Gong, and I always look forward to starting my day here. My friends from Sydney also visit regularly and love it just as much. Highly recommend this lovely little café for anyone looking for great coffee and even better service! 👏

Easily the best brunch I have ever had! The food, service and ambience were absolutely perfect! We will definitely be back.

While all the other reviews are true, I just wanted to highlight how amazingly clean and spotless this cafe is. We didn’t see a single speck of dust or crumbs on the floor. They maintain the space really well. Highly recommended to check out this place!
