Diggies Cafe is a cafe in North Wollongong with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 150m away, JP Galvin Park is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
Diggies Cafe delivered a great lunch experience, with excellent food, friendly service, and a standout beachside setting. 🥤 Drinks: Broad range of options, especially cold drinks — ideal for a hot day. My iced coffee was well balanced, and the underlying espresso quality was impressive. 🍽️ Food: The menu offers plenty of variety, plus appealing specials. The pulled pork poutine was exceptional and reasonably priced. Even the kids food tasted great! 🧑🍳 Staff: Despite the cafe being very busy, the team stayed friendly, upbeat, and attentive. Service moved quickly considering the crowd. 🌊 Decor & atmosphere: Outdoor seating is shaded and beautifully positioned with waves crashing just metres away. Limited tables mean you may need to wait at peak times, but the setting makes it worthwhile. 📍 Location: Positioned right on the beach, with plenty of free public parking close by. Easy to reach even on a busy day. 🧒 Kid-friendly: Highchairs were available, and the kids menu had a good spread of options. Overall, Diggies is a spot I’d happily return to for a relaxed beachside meal — especially on a warm weekend.
We went to Diggies Cafe for breakfast, and although it was a bit busier than usual due to the January holiday period, the experience was still very enjoyable. The café has a great beachfront view and a really nice, relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for a morning meal by the ocean. We paid $73 for three breakfasts, which is more expensive compared to city cafés, but considering the location and the amazing view, it felt reasonable and worth it. We were very happy with the quality of the breakfast and the drinks — everything was fresh and well prepared. Overall, a great spot for breakfast with a view. We’d happily come back.
Very impressed with my experience here! The cold brew was delicious: mellow, nutty and fruity with no bitterness or astringency. The food (salmon sashimi poke bowl) looked and tasted delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful too. Perhaps the delightful company helped my experience but I can't find a fault. All the food sounded and looked delicious and I would love to come back!
What a beautiful sunset dining experience. By chance, I strolled past and decided to dine here and I am so glad I did. The staff were beyond sweet with smiles plastered on their faces, the good vibes were flowing. The view sitting on the window bench seats was so calming and added to the experience. The food choices made it hard to decide because the menu had a great variety, but with the help of a staff member I chose the garden goddess bowl with salmon and it was exactly what my soul needed, with a surprising crunch to it too. Hoping to dine there again soon to try the deserts.
2 minutes walk away from the worlds biggest blowhole is this amazing cafe. Great views. We didn’t have to wait along time on a Sunday afternoon to get a table setup for a group of 9. The food was great. Enjoyed the grilled market fish and the salt pepper squid. The grilled fish was absolute delicious dish. The drinks : the hot chocolate and cappuccino was good but the Matcha could have been better . Overall experience was good. We enjoyed the food.
