Bread, Espresso & - North Wollongong is a cafe in North Wollongong with outdoor seating. It hasn't yet been confirmed as dog-friendly, so it's best to check with the venue before visiting.
Great food and coffee and the outdoor seating has views of the ocean. Staff are friendly and you can grab a sourdough and a coffee and breakfast.
Food/drink is acceptable, but the pricing gives a higher expectation of quality than what is delivered compared to other cafes
Maybe just take cash — it’s honestly un-Australian not to. I walked in, placed a $60 order, and everything seemed fine until it came time to pay. I pulled out my cash, only to be told after the order was made that you’re cashless. I couldn’t believe it. Because of that, I didn’t even get the chance to try the food, experience the service, or get a feel for the atmosphere, because I had no choice but to walk out and take my business to the café around the corner instead. In a place where cash is still a normal, everyday way to pay, turning people away at the counter just feels wrong — and extremely frustrating.
I don’t really understand why the cafe only offers takeaways on public holidays, it ends up creating a lot of unnecessary waste and takes away from the usual dining experience. It would be much nicer if dine-in service was available, especially since the atmosphere is a big part of why people visit.
First time here in Wollongong for Bread Expresso & - another terrific store - we'd only been to Thirroul many times previously. Great coffee, light airy cafe picking up the beautiful ocean breeze
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
