The Little Nel is a cafe in Nelson Bay with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 400m away, Nelson Bay Foreshore Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
My new favourite place @thelittlenel in #portstephens Nelson bay. With a brilliant menu it was hard to choose and plates so big I had to takeaway my leftovers. Food, coffee and juice was delicious and I love the little touch of having throws to keep warm while we ate in their beautiful patio setting. Looking forward to visiting over and over and making my way through the exciting menu choices.
The Little Nel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stopped in for breakfast and it absolutely delivered. I ordered toast with 4x poached eggs and smoked salmon double espresso, my wife had toast with three poached eggs plus a ginger tea, and our kid was very happy with the kids Nutella toast. The atmosphere was really nice relaxed, welcoming, and honestly felt like paradise. Service was quick (no long wait) and the staff were attentive without hovering. Best part? The pricing. We paid $74 for everything, and coming from Sydney we were genuinely expecting it to be well over $100. Amazing value for the quality and experience. Highly recommend if you’re after a great breakfast spot with a beautiful vibe.
Went here a few years ago and was delighted. Recently went back and still as good as we remember. Great food options. We have both breakfast and lunch. Very kid friendly
We stopped by The Little Nel Cafe and really enjoyed our breakfast! We ordered the Shishito Scrambled Eggs and Eggs Benedict, and both were delicious. The shishito scrambled eggs had a nice, mild kick from the peppers and were creamy and well-seasoned, a fresh twist on regular scrambled eggs. The Eggs Benedict was classic and tasty, with perfectly poached eggs and a rich hollandaise sauce that wasn’t too heavy. The vibe of the cafe was cozy and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed morning. Service was friendly and attentive. Would definitely recommend for a chill breakfast spot in town.
We came in towards end of service for lunch and the food was excellent. The prawn linguine and the acai bowl were both delicious and great value. Our food arrived quickly and we never felt rushed. Every time we come back to Nelson Bay, we drop in here for a bite and have never been disappointed.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
