CAFE KIN is a pub in Nelson Bay with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 450m away, Nelson Bay Foreshore Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
A great little Cafe, my sons and I had breakfast here. There are tables inside and in the courtyard at the rear of the building. We had a bacon and egg roll, eggs Benny with salmon, and my son likes a bit of spice opted for the Kin chilli bean tacos which he loved! The Chai latte was really good to. The staff are friendly and service was quick. We'll definitely be back
From the outside, the premises looks warm and welcoming, bursting with an abundance of greenery thanks to hanging plants and a neutral colour scheme. Seating is comfortable with lounge style chairs and a relaxed layout. Unfortunately no amount of decoration can make up for a lack of willingness to meet the customer halfway. My simple request for an iced latte in a takeaway cup - even when dining in, I prefer to saviour my coffee and take the remainder with me the once I've eaten - denied. The cafe staff said it was not possible if dining in - some weird policy. The chilli scramble was the next disappointment. All scramble, no chilli, save for a pint sized red chilli placed atop the pile of egg. So much potential for this establishment, which instead, provided so much disappointment.
Fabulous little breakie spot in the heart of Nelson Bay. Highly recommend the corn frittas, chilli eggs and Eggs Benny. The relish has a delightful little kick to it too!
We live in Sydney and come to Nelson bay 2 times a year and we only want to get our coffee and breakfast from here. The service, food and atmosphere are ALWAYS 5 stars. Love everything about this place.
We went to cafe Kin today for brunch. When we went inside the cafe, we could smell very nice coffee smells. The decor and the atmosphere were very nice. We ordered mushroom medleys and the prawn burger. The coffee and the food were delicious. The service was good too, and the price was reasonable.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
