Nice Cafe at Nelson Bay

Tucked away down the arcade this cafe opens up to a large patio overlooking the marina and parkland area. Mum and I were strolling through town, looking for a lunch spot when we found Nice Cafe. I highly recommend the Ola Sunshine from the breakfast menu (perfect poached eggs!!), and the coffee and muffin were hot and fresh, respectively. The prices are fair and the service was EXCELLENT.

Great tasting coffee, fast friendly service and awesome location over looking Nelson Bay Marina. While staying in Nelson Bay for a couple of days, this was our go to for breakfast and we really enjoyed a Ham, Cheese & Tomato Toastie which was plenty to share between the two of us.

Best breakfast in the Bay! The Paradise Bowl is delicious and my son absolutely loves the kids waffles (which are no longer on the menu but the amazing chef is still able to do). Highly recommended!

This place is a must if you like deliciously thick smoothies and great service. As a vegetarian I asked about the chips that comes with the veg burger and they said these are fried in the same fryer as meats etc, so they said they would give me another patty instead. In the end, they served me the burger with two patties and chips, the chef personally came over and explained that he fried all my food separately in a pan to avoid the contamination even though it took slightly longer and still gave me an extra patty for free! Honestly such a generous portion and exceptional service. Definitely recommend for vegetarians or anyone who wants a superb smoothie!
