Calico - Cafe, Restaurant, Pizzeria & Bar is a dog-friendly bar in Redfern. Chippendale Green is also around 400 metres away, making it easy to fit in a walk before or after your visit.
Dogs allowed in a small indoor area at the front of the venue.
A nice, quiet, pet-friendly café. We had the pulled lamb spaghetti and fishy eggs. Our cat especially enjoyed the lamb 😄. The food was yummy and reasonably priced.
WOW This place is where you'd expect to have an incredible brunch experience and... that's exactly what you get! The menu was innovative and the food was a 10/10 for sure! Highly recommend!
Highly recommend this cafe! Their coffee is absolutely amazing, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good their bacon and egg roll was too. It’s such simple dish, so I didn’t expect much but it exceeded my expectations. On top of that, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive without being pushy 🩷
We are so lucky to have noticed this amazing restaurant and have made it our go to place for breakfast, we’ll be back for dinners when we return to Sydney! The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, the people are friendly and interesting, the food is unmatched. I had the Fishy Eggs day one and today the Croque Calico. The value of the meals is better than we’ve found at other cafes in the area and everything is incredibly fresh. If you have the chance to pop in for a meal you won’t be disappointed.
My favourite local spot to eat ! The food never misses, the vibe is great, and the staff are always really nice ! Their woodfired pizzas are absolutely MASSIVE as you can see from the comparison photo with my hand so consider bringing takeaway containers if you get one. I liked the truffle mushroom one so much that I somehow ate the whole thing by myself in one sitting hsjdJDHSJHS [don't be a gluttonous beast like me and save half for later though trust me]. Pumpkin hummus is great too with the woodfired bread ! It can be a little pricey but it's worth it :3 update: GUYS ORDER THE WILD SHROOM SALAD I'M SO SERIOUS IT'S AMAZING
