Calico - Cafe, Restaurant, Pizzeria & Bar

A nice, quiet, pet-friendly café. We had the pulled lamb spaghetti and fishy eggs. Our cat especially enjoyed the lamb 😄. The food was yummy and reasonably priced.

My favourite local spot to eat ! The food never misses, the vibe is great, and the staff are always really nice ! Their woodfired pizzas are absolutely MASSIVE as you can see from the comparison photo with my hand so consider bringing takeaway containers if you get one. I liked the truffle mushroom one so much that I somehow ate the whole thing by myself in one sitting hsjdJDHSJHS [don't be a gluttonous beast like me and save half for later though trust me]. Pumpkin hummus is great too with the woodfired bread ! It can be a little pricey but it's worth it :3 update: GUYS ORDER THE WILD SHROOM SALAD I'M SO SERIOUS IT'S AMAZING

Visited Calico in Redfern and really enjoyed the relaxed café-restaurant vibe. The coffee was smooth, and the pizzas — especially the margherita and mushroom options — came out hot with great flavour. It’s a convenient spot near Redfern Station, making it easy to drop in for brunch or dinner. A solid choice in Redfern when you want good coffee, good pizza, and a comfortable place to sit with friends.

Been here a few times over the years and have always enjoyed the food. The service is casual and friendly. It’s a nice atmosphere inside as it’s an old warehouse type building with lots of cross ventilation so that was pleasant. We had chicken burger which was moist and delicious but my mushroom dish with roasted pumpkin was a standout!

Pretty cool place to chill out. Staff are friendly and food fantastic but not great portions. Beautiful presentation and the pizzas are amazing!
