A cut above the average, this pub serves decent meals and offers quality gigs. The beer is cold and the service friendly and helpful. The cherry trifle was as short on cherry as it was overdosed on gelatine. This item needs some serious research and development. Otherwise a safe place to get your pub fix.

The food is incredibly reasonably priced and every meal I've tried has been 10/10. Great and friendly neighbourhood atmosphere too

I visited this place while I was studying overseas and staying nearby. They had so many taps in two spots, so I asked the staff which beer less bitter. She said 'Balter XPA,' so I ordered that. I was just curious about that beer, so I looked it up. Production area : Queensland Currumbin classification : pale ale Alcohol by Volume : 5.0% color : a hazy gold taste : fruity and little bit hoppy Her recommendation was spot-on - it was absolutely great. I was really thirsty, and I had a blissful time.

Good pub atmosphere, staff were getting slammed so understandably service wasn't the most attentive, definitely need more staff, when asked for the kids ice cream we waited 20 minutes for it and it didn't arrive but our allocated booking was over and the staff were far too busy so we left. food sat waiting at the bay to be served for a while so wasn't very hot when it came but food was overall decent. Can imagine a great pub food on a less busy night.

Went after a recommendation by our son, and very happy we tried the Eveleigh Hotel. A great, old style pub which has stayed true to its heritage. Great update, but still a true, classy, old-style location for a Sunday afternoon with live Jazz inside and a regular trickle of customers, whish as great sign of quality. Didn't try any food, but I'm confident it would have been good as the pub became very busy from sundown. Will return!
