Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere ! Very small cute restaurant, with great staff. The food especially the pretzel were incredible. Everything was so fresh, perfect mix of flavour, I highly recommended this place for a night out. Will definitely be back !

It was recommended to me by the Airbnb where I was staying, and I honestly wasn’t disappointed by this place. The Italian cuisine can be enjoyed tapas-style, with rich and flavorful tastes. I highly recommend the pretzel with whipped bottarga cream. The setting is intimate, the staff is lovely, and the cocktails are divine. You absolutely have to try the Sicilian white wine — it’s incredible.

Before even arriving in Sydney, I already knew that 10 William Street would be our first dining stop. I’d seen so many posts showcasing the food and overall vibe that it immediately jumped to the top of my list—and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Located in Paddington, just a short distance from the CBD, the restaurant sits quietly on a side street off a main road. The black-painted exterior feels understated yet confident, making it impossible to miss. Inside, the atmosphere is warm, intimate and effortlessly cool. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by genuinely friendly staff and shown straight to our table. Throughout the evening, the service was outstanding—attentive without being intrusive and incredibly accommodating. We were seated near the entrance and noticed how welcoming the team was to everyone coming and going. Despite being clearly busy, they managed to fit in multiple walk-ins without turning anyone away. That said, I’m glad we booked—I think we landed the best seat in the house. We started with drinks: a chilled red for my boyfriend, which was light and refreshing, and a Dirty Negroni for me. Although it wasn’t on the menu, they were more than happy to make one. The menu was overwhelming in the best way—everything looked incredible and we had to stop ourselves from ordering it all. We shared the marinated mixed olives, salumi plate and kingfish tartare to start, followed by the spaghetti with king prawns and the tagliatelle al ragù d’agnello. After seeing so many tables around us ordering the spaghetti, we were inspired to order it too—and it absolutely delivered. Both pasta dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavour. Overall, 10 William Street delivered an exceptional dining experience. The perfect date-night spot with incredible food, great drinks and faultless service. A must-visit when in Sydney.

Great selection of food especially the pretzel, scallops and t-bone special. The flavours of the hazelnut and green tomato with tuna sashimi didnt work as a combo though. The service was really friendly and the place is very cosy!
