What people say
4/5: good coffee but not exceptional Coffee was fine, nothing special about it. Not as strong as I prefer. Service was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great for a raining day. Lots of people were on laptops and is kid friendly. There’s an outdoor area where people with dogs were sitting although it’s not shielded well from the rain.
Cool vibes, easy parking (right across from Katoomba RSL), and seriously good coffee. Double espresso (India) and filter (Burundi) hit the spot, and the oat latte impressed too. Indoors is nice, but nothing beats that sunshine outside!
We came from watching the sunrise at Echo Point and Cassiopeia was one of the only cafes open on our way back so we decided to stop in. I got an oat cappuccino which was delicious, and an almond croissant which may be the best I've ever had - definitely fully loaded. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere in there was really nice. Thanks so much!
Came by during our visit to the Blue Mountains and stay in Katoomba, and it was a most lovely breakfast spot. The pastries were freshly baked and there were both sweet and savoury options – I personally liked the savoury ones the most. We had coffee and a peppermint mocha which were refreshing as well, good fuel for the day ahead.
If you want a strong coffee, this place may not be for you — try Mountain Ama Coffee instead. But if you prefer light coffee, then it’s good enough. The croissants are ok, though I didn’t get to try their famous almond croissant as it was out of stock. The staff also didn’t ask whether we wanted dine-in or takeaway; they just processed it as takeaway. We were also overcharged (we only noticed after we had already left) Overall, it wasn’t a great experience for us. We’re tourists, so maybe our opinion doesn’t matter much, but I hope this helps other visitors make a better choice)
