Much changed from my last visit (which was some time ago). The now paid parking lot (like so many others) seems very new, but still has a (also new) toilet block. You walk down from the new lot on the old entry drive and onto the well established cascade walk, so that natural beauty remains.

This is a place where there are no signs or indications that there is a trail to go. There is a small road that takes you to the picnic area, but it was fenced off when we passed it. So we parked in a patch of land that was a few metres away from the trail. We were one of the lucky few who got proper parking. When we came back from the walk, there were cars parked along the roadside, on both sides of the road. There were many steps, but it was a good trail that had planks, walkways and steps specifically made for the walk to make it easier. The cascades were beautiful in itself and you could see the bottom of the creek in the areas where the water was still. We didn't get to the Falls as the Google map we were following was not accurate. And the signs were a little confusing. So we didn't go to the Leura Falls. But we did end up at the Bridal Veil Falls which was a beautiful waterfall in itself.

Great place very beautiful and well worth a look .Some great trails and exellent water falls and creeks to look at. Its well serviced and well marked great for any local or tourist to take advantage of . Lots of birds and native plants and very very clean tracks. Plenty of parking and good shops around for a look at before u hike.
