Too loud! and very inconsiderate with neighbours. Don’t you have any soundproof? People have to wake up to work early and couldn’t sleep. Other bars nearby are not this loud. Maybe shut the door?

What a breath of fresh air Kalyx Bat & Lounge is in Randwick. A beautiful stylish music venue in the heart of the Eastern Suburbs. Great live music and cocktails and a diverse selection of great music everyweek. I'll definitely be coming back to Kalyx.

This place impressed me. I went for a jazz night and was blown away by the talent, heaps of local musicians, creating this vibe that I haven't experienced before in Sydney. From what I saw many from surrounding unis, and business communities. They do really well at their cocktails, unique and elegant selection that you can tell they've created from scratch. I recommend showing up for an open mic and giving it a go (why not) or coming back for a afro beats night and having a dance.

I was there for live jazz, reggae, and drum n bass nights and they delivered! It being happy hour at the same time also helped haha a great spot for Randwick. The interior is decorated really well too with an art gallery upstairs. A great place for creatives or friends just wanting a cosy catch up! 👌🏽
