Great little spot plenty of parking and atmosphere. Food is great, even caters to vegetarians very well. The bread they bake is magnificent heavy dense but fluffy sourdough. The rye is my favorite.

NOTE: KITCHEN CLOSES AT 2PM, despite 5pm close. Great little local bakery/cafe eatery, located right next to the park and positioned to get gorgeous afternoon sun during winter. STAFF: 10/10. Excited to eat here after our morning walk, they only had 1 item I could actually eat, which was gluten free: a slice of cake. The staff were really kind, apologetic and lovely about this though. We'd called ahead, however to date haven't been able to get through to the head office, hence all caps 2pm close. So many people were, like us, suprised and disappointed. 7 other people in line also thought the kitchen would still be open at 2:30pm. FOOD: Great choice of vegetation and some gluten free options (only sweets, after 2pm and prior, they have salads and if you get here early enough, they have gf bread) ACCESSIBILITY+LOCATION: Positioned 1 minute walk from the sports field, great to grab a take away bite for when the kids are playing. Wheelchair, walker and, pram friendly with some outdoor seating also making this good for those with dogs. Larger tables would easily fit 10+ people TOILETS: 1 available is often occupied, however public toilets in park located a minute away. OVERALL: Would recommend, especially if you can eat dairy, meat and gluten.

Such a cute little cafe! They gave me an extra little spanakopita to apologise for a small wait on my lamb salad! Such nice service, amazing place

Had such a great experience at this bakery! I tried the Morocco pie and it was absolutely delicious — full of flavour, perfectly seasoned, and so fresh. The coffee was just as impressive, smooth and really well made. The staff were friendly and the place had a cozy, welcoming vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to! 🥧☕✨

An absolute favourite! Perfectly located right next to the Lighthouse Reserve and the stunning South Head cliff walk, this spot is a brilliant start or finish to your outing. The ocean views are incredible, and it’s a great vantage point for whale watching during the season. Grab a pastry for your walk and return for something more substantial — or fuel up first with a proper meal and finish with something sweet. The shakshuka is fantastic and my go-to for breakfast or lunch. Coffee is reliably good. Just a heads-up — on sunny days, the queue can be long, but it’s absolutely worth it.
