It beautifully combines an active recreation space with one of the city's most spectacular natural settings. Whether you're chasing an ocean view, a challenging walk, or a place to run your dog, this park delivers. Highly recommended for: Coastal walkers, photographers, dog owners, and sports enthusiasts.
A park above the coast line facing the Pacific Ocean along the New South Head Road in Vaucluse is a good place for leisurely walks or exercise for the jogging, team sports (basketball, soccer, etc) as well as for children to play and ride bikes, and the animal lovers to walk their dogs! It is also a good place to spot the whales during their annual seasonal migration. There is always parking available the road.
Great Park if you like ocean views. Lots of young people playing sports on the field. Dog walking is plentiful for locals and visitors. The park stretches from the cemetery to the Gap at Watson's Bay and is flush with walkers, joggers, veiwers etc.. Packed on Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race as it's 100 metres above sea level. The bunkers and lighthouse are nice to wander through its history with plenty of information markers placed there by the Council. Walking to the middle of the park gets you fantastic city views to the west. I'm betting this is packed on new years Eve as well.
This Park is glorious. It sits on top of the hill with the Pacific Ocean on one side and Sydney Harbour on the other. It has one of the best views of Sydney Harbour and the CBD. You could imagine as a kid I used to play up here every afternoon, it has great memories. It’s still beautiful.
Great outlook for boat races, whales and moon 🌙 rises. Very popular walkers, as there is sealed pathway. Sealed area for fitness training and basketball 🏀. As usual, plenty of pokestops along the pathway.
