What people say
If you plan to visit the Diamond Bay Cliffwalk and have a couple of minutes too, I would recommend that you may also visit this Vaucluse Viewpoint too. This viewpoint has been fenced off (as it's just next to the cliff edge) by wooden fence but there is no official standing point or concrete pavement leading you to walk from the roadside down the slope to go to the viewpoint. I don't recommend this viewpoint for elder people or anyone who can only walk safely on flat or paved steps. Otherwise, it's worth visiting to see what the Diamond Bay Cliffwalk resting on the opposite side of the cliff looks like before visiting there. Free street parking available on the Chris Bang Crescent.
Nice for a walk, can get windy but good walkways, nice seating spread around, and cool view of the cliffs, ocean and cliff-edge houses. Nice for dog walking too
Stunning view, nice place for an a peaceful walk
It’s just an hours walk from north Bondi and it’s not crowded at all. Beautiful views, amazing coastline. The diamond bay is certainly the best part of the walk from Bondi to south head/ Hornby lighthouse.
Among all the other lookouts in the Bondi Area, this was the best one for me. Why? 1. Very nice view and chill atmosphere. The mixture of modern buildings and nature (cliffside, sea, and building) 2. Not too much people in the area. We were only like three there so you can take good photos without worrying about the crowd 3. Timeless. The beauty of this place just hits different. I have been to tons of places in Australia and this is just different.
