Purchased 1kg of diced beef on Christmas Eve got 500gms of inedible fat. I understand all meat comes with some fat but this wasn’t suitable for sale. As a regular customer not happy at all.
“Naked Biltong” popped up on my algorithm and after some research found that authentic South African Biltong was practically on my doorstep, so I HAD to go. I only had a brief look around the shop, not sure why there’s so many negative reviews 🤷♀️ Anyways, I was on a mission for Biltong and bought two generous sticks that were cut up. Thought that considering the amount we got was at a reasonable price so 👍 Got home and the taste🤤🤤🤤 it was like I was transported back to my Cape Town holiday. The meat, not too fatty, nice thin cuts (so it’s not a workout on the jaw). Suffice to say, I’ll be back. Keep up the great work folks👏👏👏
I’ve been coming to your store for a while now and just wanted to say todays display of meat was the best I’ve seen since coming to field to fork. In saying that the offerings are always exceptional but today’s display made it feel extra special along with the great service. I wanted to let the butcher know but he looked really busy. Can you please pass this message on to him. Absolutely amazing.
Excellent range of Rangers Valley steaks. Wagyu biltong is a must try! Staff are patient and friendly. Will be back!
A great small local business . Super lovely and has a awesome selection of meats and nibbles. If you need some great speciality meats - this is the place to go.
