Field To Fork Vaucluse

Frustrating experience. Called up in the morning to check if they would freshly grind some chuck steak for burgers, and the lady on the phone told me they could, or I could purchase some of their pre-ground meat which was also chuck. I said I preferred fresh and I was on my way. Rushed to get the kids ready and came in store and said I would like some chuck ground up for burgers and they then told me they couldn’t do it? Told me the pre ground lean beef was the only option or I needed to buy 5kg of chuck for them to grind it. Absolutely fine if you can’t grind meat on demand, but frustrating to call ahead to confirm it could be done only to be told the opposite when I arrived 30 minutes later.

Thanks for the amazing catering for my party last weekend. The Brisket was sensational!! Meat from you guys is always fabulous, but the service and care with this order was next level. Fred is THE BEST!!

It’s been a while since I visited this store and its great to see a team that work together . The display in the counter speaks for itself, lots of colour which is great to see. Everyone is so welcoming and always happy to help. I will definitely be using Vaucluse store from now on, the team went above and beyond.

If only the google star ratings went into the minuses. My family has been shopping and supporting this butcher for the last year, but not anymore. I find it extremely offensive and unimaginable that you can prosper and profit, of the community you operate within, yet judge and mock the people who come through your doors. All people should be treated with the utmost respect and not judged on the clothes they are wearing, the car they are driving, there religion, their thoughts or beliefs, and weather you see them as an easy target, so you can have your fun for the day and have a laugh at their expense. I think this should be a good lesson for your buisness to take on and dramatically improve on, because Regardless of the fact that we will NEVER come back, it's important to note that the next individual that walks through your doors, more than likely has a family who loves and cares for them, and on any other day would be going about their daily buisness, not having to think about the field to fork butcher in Vaucluse and leave this review

Purchased 1kg of diced beef on Christmas Eve got 500gms of inedible fat. I understand all meat comes with some fat but this wasn’t suitable for sale. As a regular customer not happy at all.
