Good coffee (with a sweet morsel thrown in) and excellent chicken and leek pies. But the best feature is the staff. Friendly, kind and observant. My dog spooked and caused me to crush my pie. In seconds, one staff member had a handful of paper towel and another offered a replacement pie!! Can’t love this place enough.
Lovely service. Really good coffee that comes with a little caramel slice. Don’t sleep on the beef sausage rolls either! So soft and moist.
My friend and I had the most wonderful experience at Flour Salt Water yesterday. Such a hidden gem in Kiama, serving the most beautiful food and pastries. The coffee was spot on, and the customer service and atmosphere made us want to come straight back. The quiche and caramelised onion sourdough were absolutely out of this world. Highly, highly recommend!!
Nice local cafe. Lots of home made chutney, cakes, pies, pastries. Lovely coffee too.
Bought a sesame wholewheat sandwich loaf. Was dense with fine crumb, no aeration as one would expect from a sourdough. Crust was ok but bread was dry, heavy and unpleasant to eat. My partner threw her sandwich bread away, couldn't eat it. A big let down after years of eating great sourdough at our home town. Can't recommend. EDIT: Had a follow up phone call with owner as requested, unfortunately the promised delivery of some other products didn't eventuate.
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
