THEECA is a pub in Darlinghurst with an outdoor area. Dog access isn't confirmed, but venues with an outdoor area are often dog friendly, so it may be worth checking. Just 150m away, Albert Sloss Reserve is a great nearby park for a walk with your dog.
We came here for dinner and ordered after 5 p.m. We ordered the prawn pasta, rib-eye steak, and duck. The waiting time was very long. It seemed like there was only one person in the kitchen doing everything, so the estimated waiting time was over 30 minutes (or maybe because we ordered right at 5, which is peak dining time). They also didn’t put much effort into decorating the food 😥—it looked quite homemade. Overall, the food was fair. The prawn pasta was good and tasty, the beef was soft but the sauce was just okay, and the duck was delicious—recommended. We also ordered potato rosti, but I forgot to take a photo of it. For dessert, we ordered the tonka cream. The waiting time was long as well 🤷♀️. It tasted a bit like ice cream and had a more icy texture. Overall, the food was good, but it was quite expensive per person ($50–60), or maybe we just ordered too much 😥
Absolutely fabulous food with such creative flavour combinations. There was about a 20-minute wait when I visited, but it was completely worth it, everything was delicious and beautifully done. Neve and the team were genuinely lovely and made the experience even better. I also really appreciated how kind and helpful the staff were when I later reached out about a lost item. You can truly feel the care they put into both the food and the people. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Darlinghurst, I’d happily come back again.
I visited on a beautiful Sunday for brunch. The café was quite busy, but the lively atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff made us feel very welcome. The coffee was smooth and perfectly balanced, and every dish we ordered was full of flavor. The highlight of our meal was definitely the pancakes — soft, fluffy, and beautifully presented. Everyone at our table loved them! It was such a delightful experience overall, and I’d definitely love to come back for another relaxing brunch.
Visited THECCA in Sydney, and it completely impressed me. The coffee was outstanding — deep aroma, silky texture, and precise brewing that showed real craftsmanship. The interior was simple but stylish, with soft lighting and a peaceful atmosphere. The baristas were friendly, professional, and clearly cared about the details of every cup. If you’re serious about specialty coffee, this spot should definitely be on your list. Calm, elegant, and full of quality.
Me and my partner decided to try the buttermilk pancakes here after seeing them all over TikTok- apparently, they’re the best pancakes in Sydney, so of course we had to see for ourselves! When we arrived, there was a short queue outside, and we waited around 15 minutes to be seated. The food came out about 10 minutes later, which wasn’t bad at all for such a popular spot. The pancakes were definitely filling, fluffy on top with the bottom nicely soaked in syrup. The crème fraîche was light and not overpowering, and the jam tasted fresh and refreshing. Personally, I found the maple syrup a little too sweet for my liking, but overall, I really enjoyed it!
We check council regulations, official sources, and community reviews to verify dog access at every venue. Access may change — always check on-site signage. Something wrong or missing? Submit feedback. How it works.
