Rocker

Rocker in North Bondi is a cool, vibey spot with a nice variety of dishes, good food and a great atmosphere. It is definitely on the pricier side, but overall a nice place for dinner. What felt uncomfortable was the tipping system. In Australia, where tipping is not really part of the culture, the card terminal immediately suggests 15 percent. On a 100 to 120 AUD bill, that is the price of an entrée. The service was okay, but not exceptional. It is also unclear whether these digital tips actually go to the staff. A tip jar would feel more transparent. Good food and vibe, but the tipping approach needs improvement.

Amazing beautiful restaurant with a quality food and lovely positive vibe! Had a dinner with friends there and can’t put in words how tasty the food and cool the vibe was! Cozy, romantic, beachy and at the same time elegant. The cocktails also nice and the food served nicely. Thanks, will definitely come back again.

The food was delicious! We chose the bottomless lunch option and had a great time. What I will say is that the service wasn’t great. We firstly asked to switch tables as the tables outside are very short and my boyfriend couldn’t fit his legs under them. The waitress responded saying that we should put it in the booking notes next time (we had no idea the tables would be that short and it would have felt weird to write my boyfriend’s height in the notes when we have never had to before this). We managed to move somewhere else after a bit but the rest of the service felt a bit messy. They forgot to bring us the olives and pickles which were clearly on our set menu and when we asked for them they only brought out olives. Every time we asked for a drink we felt a bit judged (when we had chosen the bottomless for this). May give this place another go another time just because the food was that good!

My husband and I had a wonderful lunch at Rocker given to us by our daughter. It was a grey rainy day, perfect for an indoor truffle lunch at Rocker. The food was fresh, tasty and all cooked to perfection. We let our waiter decide on our wine pairing for each serving and they all complimented our food perfectly. Every time a dish was served the waiter would explain the dish to us. We enjoyed every minute of it. Thank you for a wonderfull lunch.

Came here for a roast, we got the both the beef and the pork belly. The beef was cooked beautifully and the roast was 10/10. I think this is my favourite roast so far in Sydney. Good sized portion, really nice gravy and roast potatoes. And love the fact you can order sides of cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets. Would 100% recommend
