I ordered a salad bowl today. I didn't pay attention to it. I just wanted to ask the staff why there was so little food. But the waitress with glasses had a very bad attitude and looked very angry. I don't know what's wrong with her. In addition, when she ordered the food, she was also very careless. She ordered a very simple sashimi. I don't understand why the dish was served after 40 minutes. When I went to urge them for this sashimi, they found that they didn't order successfully.
We ordered the salmon nigiri and the chicken yakitori both were absolutely delicious! The salmon was super fresh and melted in the mouth, and the yakitori was perfectly cooked with amazing flavour. Friendly service and a nice relaxed vibe. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I’m craving Japanese food in Vaucluse.

The variety of dishes on the menu ensured there was something for everyone, and the presentation was impeccable. The Bao Buns, Fried Tofu, Wantan and the sashimi i will highly recommended! The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, making sure we had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend Washoku to anyone seeking top-quality sushi in Vaucluse!
Washoku never fails to deliver. I’ve been here many times over the years and the same high standard remains. A few times I’ve come and it has been too busy/no seats available.. so I’ve been turned away, so now I always try and make a reservation. The staff are very pleasant and lovely.. and the food is great. So many options, sushi, soups, grills, or various share platters. The quality is high, fresh and tasty. You leave feeling full, but not sick. I love this place and return cause it’s reliable and some of the best Japanese in the area.
Good service. Food were nicely presented, it would be even better if the ingredients were fresher. Many of the wooden chopsticks looked tired and worn at the tips. Perhaps it’s time to replace them.
