What people say
In House Kitchen is hands down the best place for breakfast in the Bay Area. Every time we’re in town, this is a must-visit for my family. The food is consistently excellent, the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. It’s the kind of place you can genuinely enjoy a great meal while spending quality time together. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top-notch breakfast spot, we’ll keep coming back every visit.
In House Kitchen was a lifesaver on New Year’s Day it felt like the only place open when everything else was shut. We ordered poached eggs on toast with smoked salmon, plus waffles for our little one. Coffee and tea were great too genuinely couldn’t fault them. Even though the place was absolutely hectic busy, we managed to grab a table and the food came out quickly. You can tell it’s a well-oiled kitchen that knows how to handle a rush. 100% recommend if you’re in Nelsons Bay.
This location offers a pleasant breakfast experience. However, the outdoor tables require stabilization and leveling. Each time a server delivers an item, it slides due to the uneven surface.
In House Kitchen is a return cafe for us. We have friends that live locally and they have coffee and food there at least weekly. Reason is simple, consistency. Consistent service, quality and presentation. Well done IHK.
Great food, quick service despite being close to capacity. The coffee was perfection, made by an experienced barista and the food was delightful. Prosciutto scrambled eggs were delish with cheese on top and toasted Turkish soldiers. Brioche Benny was good too.
