We came across this for a Monday lunch as we going to a session at The Palace Cinemas. We sat out on the shaded footpath & enjoyed the meal even though noisy Abercrombie St was right there. My chilli Billy egg dish with roti was a bit different as it had a samba sauce. My friend's enjoyed a fried cauliflower dish & a green bowl. The coffee was spot on. We intend to return.
Probably one of the best coffees in town. The staff is amazing and super friendly — you always feel welcome, just like at home. The coffee and the latte art are wonderful! A great place with great people 🫶
I don’t usually leave reviews, but this little café really deserves it! We had brunch with some fresh juice, and everything was just perfect. Great food, chill vibes, and such a peaceful spot — loved it!
I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but this time I genuinely want to recommend this place! The latte art was such a delightful surprise, the food portions were just right and tasted amazing, and everything was paired really well. The best part of our experience was the service — the staff were so warm, easygoing, and funny. When he noticed we brought a Polaroid camera, he even offered to help us take photos and beautifully arranged our tableware and dishes. It was such a thoughtful touch that really made our day! We were completely satisfied with everything about this restaurant.
Loved by locals for dining in or takeaway, many customers were like friends of owners. Ordered Avo and smoked tout on toast, large long black. The avocado was very fresh and creamy, the smoked trout was also fresh and meaty, without fishy smell. The sourdough was very well made. It had crispy outer layers, and soft inner, bringing more textures. The cherry tomato and cheese blended well with each other and able to refresh the heaviness of avocado and smoked trout. It seemed to be two dishes combing into one, given the many flavours and textures. Coffee was up to bar, but nothing too special. Total ~$33-35. Large portion breakfast, able to keep me full till late pm.
